The camaraderie among birders in Thickson's Woods has to be second-to-none. In spite of fog and rains everyone played a great part on this May 1 day in passing-on of just where specific birds may be within this marvelous paradise. During a brief weather retreat to a doughnut shop several people contributed to ideas for building a special tower at Cranberry!!
19 warblers were reported throughout the AM-- highlights being 2 Hooded, Northern Waterthrush, Louisiana Waterthrush, Ovenbird, Blackburnian, Wilson's, Nashville, Yellow, Cape May, Blue-winged, Am. Redstart and Blue-winged. I believe a Tennessee Warbler may have been seen.
