There were 24 Little Gulls observed at this morning's Little Gull Viewing Day at the Oshawa Second Marsh. Not quite the 100+ that were seen last year at this time but still good enough numbers that everyone got to see this magnificent little bird.
The Viewing Day continues tomorrow and Sunday from sunrise to approximately 1000. See you there. Directions: Exit from the 401 at the Harmony Rd. Exit (419) in Oshawa. Go south on Farewell St. to Colonel Sam Drive. Go east on Colonel Sam Drive to the parking lot at the GM Headquarters. Park in the west parking lot close to the marsh.
