Apr. 9: Prince Edward Point: Joel Ellis found a male BLACK SCOTER


WOLFE I. [page 36, quads E56&57

Apr. 9, Eleanor & Bob Sachs found an estimated 35 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS on the
west end of Wolfe I., 1 MUTE SWAN on Button Bay, 2 OSPREY on a platform at
the east end of Garden I.& 2 BONEPARTE'S GULLS on Goose Island

Apr. 10 Wolfe Island: Ellis had BLUE-WINGED TEAL, SNOW GEESE 3, SHORT-EARED
OWL 1.

Apr. 11: Wolfe Island: Mackenzie had CASPIAN TERN 3, SAVANNAH SPARROW 1,
SHORT-EARED OWL 4. The Short-eared Owls were in an overgrown field opposite
the golf course along 9th line road north of Bennet Rd.

Sharon David reported the TUFTED TITMOUSE again this afternoon at
5:40PM.(Apr, 5) It seems to prefer feeding on the sunflower seed feeder
hanging in the cedars on the roadside
of the house.

Paul Mackenzie and I found it at the sunflower feeder at 3 P. M. Apr. 7.
Sharon has not seen the TUFTED TITMOUSE again since Apr. 7.

Directions: [page 36, quad D57] The ferry dock for Howe I. is at the south
end of the Joyceville Rd. The ferry fee is about $2. It debarks at the north
end of Howe Island Dr. Turn right onto Baseline Rd. & drive left onto Good
Friend Rd. which leads to Havenwood Trail. The TUFTED TITMOUSE was around 80
Havenwood Trail. RED-BELLIED WOODPECKERS are there too.




OTHER SIGHTINGS

On Apr. 11, Eleanor Sachs & I heard & saw 2 RED-BELLIED WOODPECKERS at
Cartwright Point East [page 36, quad D56] {page 48 & 49, quads N20 & M21}
