This evening around 6 pm there were thousands (hard to estimate, perhaps 3,000-4,000) of Tundra Swans in the corn fields north of Rd. #45 west of Calton. Calton is east of the road connecting Aylmer & Port Bruce. I would assume that these birds will be arriving in the Aylmer area tomorrow. As we watched flock after flock was dropping into these fields.
