Meadowlarks are back and Song Sparrows are singing. Great Blue Herons have returned to the heronry on Chantry Island. There was a nice mix of gulls at the Kincardine Sewage lagoons today - 9 Great Black-backed, 2 Glaucous, Herring and Ring-billed. There are 2 Snowy Owls at the corner of Saugeen Concession 2 and sideroad 18/19. Lake Huron is still frozen from Chantry Island to Point Clark.
