Some sun later in the day with lake affect snow. Observations: The counter tried twice to get to Beamer CA today. At around 7:30 a.m. he met heavy snow, high winds and slippery roads and turned around at Hamilton and headed home. Tried again later in the morning, but police were rerouting traffic around Highway 20 due to several cars in the ditch. Wind was picking up and although there were sunny breaks, the driving was bad, so he once again turned back. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Bill Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Beamer Conservation Area, Grimsby, ON information may be found at: http://www.hwcn.org/link/niaghawk/index.html Beamer Conservation Area is located on top of the Niagara Escarpment above the town of Grimsby, Ontario.
