Forwarding for Geoff Carpentier

At 7:30 this morning [March 15/04], I saw the drake Barrow's Golden-eye
just west of LaSalle Park. It was swimming and feeding with Canvasbacks,
R.B. Mergansers, Buffleheads, Ring-necked Ducks and a few Common
Golden-eyes. The bird was close to shore [<150 m] and near the steel
breakwall. A scope is required.

LaSalle Park is at the foot of LaSalle Park Rd. Take Waterdown Road south
from the 403 Hamilton to the park or North Shore Blvd west off the QEW
Niagara to LaSalle Park Rd and then south to the park.
