Today, on highway 42, just west of the Lee Brown Wildlife Area, I had two Sandhill Cranes alight in a field beside me. Other notable sightings were: 100+ Tundra Swans flying low overhead at the Bird Studies Canada building in Port Rowan. 2 male Eastern Bluebirds on a telephone wire on highway 16, north of St. Williams. 25 Short Eared Owls on Concession Road 6, East of Highway 53.
