Spring must be coming! After a long hiatus of not much I am suddenly getting luckier!
Canvassing the area south of our airport once again, but on a limited time, I saw 2 of the Short-eared Owls. NO Snowy this time, but 2 Wild Turkeys and a coyote instead, all on Earl Armstrong Rd. Around on Leitrim Rd there was a Great Horned Owl sitting in a tree by the road, searching the ground. It flew of behind some bushes after something. For directions, see our website and follow the links to great directions in the birding section. Cheers, Eve -Eve Ticknor Coordinator, OFNC Peregrine Falcon Watch 38-9 Gillespie Cres.
