On Mon the 9th there were 29 wild Turkeys on Height's Rd south of highway
#7.

Directions - Go west 3 km from the traffic light in the center of Omemee.
Turn south at the John Deere dealership. The birds were on the road at the
steep hill. A couple were teetering on sumac branches eating the seeds from
staghorns.

Tues. the 10th. A mature Bald Eagle was flying along the river and circling
the town of Bobcaygeon at 2:30 p.m. It landed in a tree along the river and
gave us a good view. In the river just west of the highway #36 bridge were
4 Common Goldeneye, a female Common Merganser, a male Hooded Merganser and a
male Buffelhead. We also saw 6 wild Turkeys north of town on Fairbairn Rd.
100 feet south of Bury's Green Rd.

Directions - Take highway #36 north to Bobcaygeon. Just past the Tim
Horton's is the bridge. Cross it and take the first right (Riverside Dr)
and immediately turn right again onto Front St E which takes one under the
bridge and along the river. The water fowl were around the boathouses, the
eagle overhead.
