Yesterday I went to find the waxwings, and found a few but forgot the road they were on. So today Tuesday February 10 Tony Bigg and I went down and found the spot to my surprise they (about 100 Bohemian and a few Cedar) were still there. They were on the golf course on Sideline 14 just north of Concession 7. They were eating berries in the valley and coming up and landing in the top of a few of the deciduous trees. They eventually few across the road and landed in the trees west of the road. Best seen from the dead end facing south. Today, the flew back to the golf course so they might be round in the next little while.
Directions: From 401 go north on Westney Rd in Ajax, through the village of Greenwood, past Hwy 7 and then turn left on Concession 7, then right on Sideline 14 (second road). The golf course is on your right. Anne Anthony Peterborough "Anne Anthony" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Visit http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm for information on leaving and joining the list.
