After reading Carol's waxwing report I drove up Westney this Feb.10 AM to
test my luck--I stopped to say Hi to some horses on the other side of a
fence (a just north of the 8thConc.on sdln.12 ), and, as if on cue, a small
flock of perhaps 20 Waxwings came down to sit in a shrub beside the fence--
12 of them were Bohemians---superb view. Then I drove over to Westney--no
luck there.

On Hall's Rd. -no Snow Buntings, but in a very cold windy snowy morn the
following were picked up at or near the feeder station-- Downy & Hairy
Woodpeckers, N.Flicker, 5 C.Redpolls, Goldfinch, Song Sparrow, many Tree
Sparrows, Junco, 10 Cardinals, 3 Red-winged Blackbirds, Blue Jay, Chickadees
and a Cooper's Hawk.

This is my last report for at least 2 weeks-- I trust someone will
substitute for me. I am off to do some birding, bromeliadizing, orchidizing,
walking & walking and examining many ruins in the Yucatan Peninsula.
