Today on my way to school at around 9:30 I spotted an adult
Red-shouldered Hawk fly and perch in a large oak tree near the Conestoga
River just on the outskirts of Hawkesville.

Directions: take Hwy. 86 north to King street exit. Turn west on
Lobsinger line, drive to Heidelberg, turn north on Kressler and drive to
Hawkesville, drive to the bridge that crosses the Conestoga river, it
was in the vicinity of this area but may cruise that river stretch.

Good birding,
Kenny Burrell
