Hello Ontario Birders (Listers!)
My group had a gorgeous day admiring the JUVENILE male Rufous Hummingbird in
Kingston. Hearty...Thank yous... to the gracious owners of a lovely property
and a friendly loveable dog!
The Rufous Hummingbird came to the feeder every 7 to 8 minutes and
occasionally set in the Cedar or Pine trees ( both next to the feeder on south
side of the house- that was between 12:05 and 12:55 pm Saturday.
On the way back home, we forayed into Presqu'Ile PP, looking for Purple
Sandipers { which we did not find); instead, we found a late juvenile Baird's
Sandpiper, 3 somewhat late Sanderlings, & 3 Lesser Yellowlegs- All at Owen's
Point past Beach #4.
Cheers
Luc Fazio & the gang
