Hi Ontbirders,

We did the Weekly IBA shorebird survey at Presqu'ile this morning and
saw 228 individuals of 7 species.  Birds were scattered but the majority
were on the south end of the beach and Owen Point.  Most unusual was a
late Semipalmated Sandpiper on Beach 4.

Results:

9j Black-bellied Plover
1j Greater Yellowlegs
212 Dunlin
2j Pectoral Sandpiper
1j Sanderling
1j Semipalmated Sandpiper
2j White-rumped Sandpiper

Directions:  Presqu'ile is located south of Brighton, Ontario.  Take the
Hwy 30 exit from Hwy 401, travel south through town and follow the signs
to the Park.
