Hi birders,
Yesterday (Oct. 28) I found a Pine Grosbeak in Tobermory, next to the school on
Centennial Drive
just off Highway 6. It's the first I've heard of this season, and it strikes me
as being a fairly
early record?
Lots of Snow Buntings have been moving through the past couple days. And there
have been some
scattered reports of White-winged Crossbills and Common Redpolls around
Tobermory too.
Hoping for a finch invasion year to make winter more exciting!

[FYI, Tobermory is located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula, and can
be reached via
Highway 6]

Cheers,
