Temp only made it to 14. Observations: Wow....what a great flight today!! Lots of good birds with 563 Sharpies and 390 Kestrels!!...and it appears there were still a few Broadwings around as the counters got another 682 today. Of note was the fact that there was only a single Peregrine...which makes me think that I want to be there for the next strong SW wind...and it looks like Friday Oct 3rd might just be the day if the current forecast holds....keep your fingers crossed!!! Predictions: Winds are forecast to be W and moderate to light...however after a day of solid NW winds today to bring the birds down to the lake tomorrow may bring a further push of birds. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch: Oldest Hawkwatch in Ontario - since 1931 - located just east of Port Stanley on the cliff overlooking Lake Erie [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm for information on leaving and joining the list.
