High to only 17 with increasing cloud as the day progressed. Observations: Well....sometimes you just can't predict a flight....and today was no exception!! A total of almost 1,900 birds counted on a W wind!! Most of these were right at the cliff...obviously the wind was providing enough lift to make the flight worthwhile for these birds. Predictions: Supposed to be fairly strong SW winds tomorrow...could result in another decent flight at the cliff itself. Definitely a day to watch for Peregrines! ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch: Oldest Hawkwatch in Ontario - since 1931 - located just east of Port Stanley on the cliff overlooking Lake Erie [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm for information on leaving and joining the list.
