The winter plummage American avocet was still feeding along the edges of the pond on County road 34 as of 11:30 Friday morning.
Directions: From 401 go north on Highway 6 towards Guelph. At the first stoplight, County road 35 turn left. Turn left at the second road, County road 34 and go about 500 meters past the intersection. The pond is on the left side (east) of the road.
