Observations: The flight was generally steady throughout the day and spread over a wide path as well as in low and high trajectories. In other words, one had to be alert to the appearance of birds anywhere in the sky as no one flight line was favored. One highlight of note was the event of an immature Bald Eagle taking a fish along the canal just east of the count area. An American Golden Plover was seen and heard on two occasions as it flew overhead. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ The primary site used by Southeastern Michigan Raptor Research (SMRR) is the Boat Launch at Lake Erie Metropark located approximately 20 miles south of Detroit, Michigan.
