The Buff-breasted Sandpiper was still at the sod farm this morning, at least until 10.45 am. It was first at the west end of the strip of sod in the second field north of County Road 74, east of Sylvan Glen Road. Then it flew to the strip of sod in the first field north of County Road 74, adjacent to that road. From the shoulder of County Road 74 we had excellent views of it at about 30 meters.
Directions: From Hwy 401 take the Welcome/Port Hope exit, Exit 461, and go north on Hwy.2 to the first traffic lights.
