Hi,
Just got back for a walk at the Currie Tract (across the street from Mohawk
Racetrack on the Guelph line). We got a lifer - a golden winged warbler -
had wonderful views of him sitting up in a leafless tree for about 2
minutes. Also saw lots of chestnut sided, a couple of blue wings and
several redstarts. Other birds were lots of indigo buntings, a scarlet
tanager and several baltimore orioles, catbird, chipping sparrow.
A lot of good birds.
Butterflies were also starting to come out - saw our first spring azure on
the way back.
