This afternoon at 2:10 pm ,I saw a Great Egret in the beaver pond across from Lefroy Harbor Marina& Restaraunt.
It was about 120 yards west of Harbor road, fishing (or hunting?)on an old Beaver Dam.I was able to view this Bird for 20 minutes ,but unfortunately I had to go to work. There was also a Great-blue Heron and several Green Herons at the Pond. Lefroy Harbor Marina is located on Harbor Road.Harbor Road runs north south between Killarney Beach Road(4th Line)and the 3rd Line of Innisfil.Travel on Hwy 11 to either the 3rd Line (if going North),or Killarney Beach Road (in the town ofChurchill if coming South),Turn East and follow to Harbor Road.If you come on Killarney Beach Road you will drive through Lefroy.The Beaver Pond is located between the 2 Driveways to Lefroy Harbor,and the west side is the most active.
