This morning, Thursday May 29th, I birded Prince Edward Pt. from 6 until 10
a.m.
Had an excellent look at a black billed cuckoo and 15 varieties of warblers,
many in good number.

chestnut sided  6 (males and females)
bay breasted  5  (males and females)

canada   3  (2 males and 1 female)
redstart    8 (males and females)

50 red eyed vireos!     4 philadelphia vireos;   green backed heron;
swainson's thrush - 3;   grey cheeked thrush - 1;  scarlet tanager 2 (male
and female);
In one tree in the same look I had 2 cedar waxwings, 1 brown thrasher, and 1
eastern towhee.

I have also had 2 tics and poison ivy this year!!  It's a rough sport!!

Directions to Prince Edward Pt.:  Take the 401 to Hwy. 62 at Belleville
follow to Picton then take County roads 8, 17, 16, 13 through South Bay and
on to Prince Edward Pt.
