Lindsey and Darrell Parsons reported a VESPER SPARROW at the north end just off Henderson's Road late yesterday. A COMMON GRACKLE was observed carrying a snake longer that himself out of Fish Point Pond.
Fish Point was wet and windy this morning with the usual birds on the tip and the sandbar island (that was the tip last year). Sheridan Point, however, was sheltered and full of WARBLERS, FLYCATCHERS, and VIREOS. Pelee Island Bird Observatory (PIBO) continues its daily banding and census operation.
