I saw a male Yellow-headed Blackbird at Colonel Samuel Smith Park this
morning at 9.00 A.M. The bird was foraging in the grass beside the lake
south of the large pond. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, he was spooked
by a couple of rather large dogs and flew to the north over the pond. I was
not able to relocate him but it is a big park and my energy levels were low
having come off a 12-hour night shift.

Directions:
Colonel Samuel Smith Park is at the bottom of Kipling Ave., south of the
lakeshore. From the QEW/Gardiner Expwy., go south on Kipling all the way
to the lake.
