I apologize for posting this somewhat late:

Yesterday, Sunday March 16, there was a flock of about 120 TUNDRA SWANS feeding & resting in a field of corn stubble (snow was competely melted) off of Highway 3 West, approx. 2 km south of Wainfleet.  I last saw them around 5:30 pm yesterday.

Directions: Wainfleet is about 8 km northwest of Port Colborne. The swans were in a field on the east side of Hwy 3 West (on the stretch that runs north-south!), 1.3 km north of the bend at Ostryhon Corners, or about 2 km south of the village of Wainfleet. There is a truck turn-around/rest area on the west side of the road opposite the swans which makes a good place to stop for viewing (if the birds are still there!)
