Andrea Stewart and Doug Tozer observed a female Harlequin Duck near the shore at Cliff Lumsden Park this afternoon. A Red-necked Grebe was also at this site.
Cliff Lumsdon Park is between the base of 5th and 6th St. in Toronto, a few kilometres west of Humber Bay Park. To get to this location, exit off the Gardner Expressway onto Islington Ave. south. Travel south on Islington and turn left (east) on Lakeshore Blvd. Travel east on the Lakeshore and turn right (south) on 6th St., which is the first street you will come to after turning onto the Lakeshore. Travel south on 6th St. to Lakeshore Dr. Turn left (east) or right (west) and park on Lakeshore Dr. in order to access Cliff Lumsdon Park. Ron Tozer Dwight, Ont.
