Ontbirders,

This afternoon about 2:00 p.m. I saw a Hermit Thrush flitting about the
Rhododenron on the west side of Edward's Gardens at the base of the west
path leading west from the hot houses. The bird came out of hiding and
started to eat the snow. It had lots of sheltered spots to get away from the
weather. There were some berries about as well.

Great bird to get on a stormy winter day for someone suffering cabin fever!

Directions: Edwards Gardens is at the corner of Lawrence Ave and Leslie
Street in downtown Toronto.
