NORTHERN HAWK OWL spotted by Ron Ripley on the north side of Rutledge Road north of Kingston at 5:00p.m., Friday February 21/03. It was located between house #1075 to the east and house #1129 to the west. A spotting scope was needed as the bird was very far away. Also had a flock of seven AMERICAN ROBINS at the Little Cataraqui C.A. which is just north of hwy. 401 on county road 10.
Directions: From Highway 401 at Kingston take country road 10 (exit 617) north towards Westport for about 20 kms. Turn left (west) on Rutledge Road and drive about one kilometre. Good Birding Bruce Ripley "Bruce Ripley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
