At about 9:30 am this morning we saw an adult bald eagle first on the ice
and then in a tree at the edge of road in front of the Lennox and Addington
Generating Station. There is some open water there where the generating
station discharges water into the lake. There were also red-breasted
mergansers, and common goldeneye.

When we returned at about 4:00 pm the eagle was not there but there was a
glaucous gull and a great black- backed gull on the ice.

The Lennox and Addington Generating Station is about 7 Km west of the town
of Bath on highway 33.

We also observed both in the morning and afternoon, a large flock of crows
(approximately 50) along South Fredericksburgh Twp Road 1. This is the road
that goes north from highway 33 at Conroy. In the morning they were about
one-half a kilometer north of highway 33 and in the afternoon at the
northend of the road approximately 4 km north of highway 33.
