The Hawk Owl was found along Weir Rd this morning (Wed.) at 8:00. It was in a maple on the south side overlooking the road about 50 metres west of where the west bound Hwy 401 exit ramp T's with Wier Rd., apparently oblivious to the traffic (although it gave me, parked directly across from it, a pretty hard stare!). Time was limited, (alas I must work for a living) but it was still there, when I left 5 minutes later.
