On our London Christmas bird count we had a group of.4 Meadowlarks. They are still present, but have now increased to seven, quite a sight in the snow. Yesterday afternoon, January 14, they were feeding at the side of the road when I first saw them. Then headed across a field to the north when disturbed by the car. Directions. On Scotland Drive, between Wellington and Highbury, just west of the row of pylons. Scotland Drive is south of 401, (Wellington Road exit), just past Regina Mundi College. Also of interest 3 Red-shouldered Hawks have been reported in the area since New Year, 1 at Strathroy, 1 south of Melbourne and one that is wintering on a property at Dorchester.
