Hi Birders,
There is still a Catbird hanging around in the Hendrie Valley in Burlington.
The bird was seen 8 Jan. at the boardwalk at the first bend when coming from the Grindstone Creek mouth. Indeed all bird activity was confined to the boardwalk. At the same location a Lincoln Sparrow was feeding on the seeds. Also a Brown Creeper was observed here. To note, many Robins are in the valley.
From the 403 exit at Hwy #6 south to Plains Road. go East (towards
Burlington)and cross bridge and first parking lot on left. Walk down trail to bottom of hill and the boardwalk starts there.
