I am developing a package called ‘protlocassign’ and trying to get it ready for Bioconductor. In the past, I was able to simply type “git push upstream main:devel” and within a few minutes the Bioconductor server had compiled the package and posted the build report with notes, warnings, etc.
Now, however, this doesn’t work for me. In response to “git push upstream main:devel” I get the message “g...@git.bioconductor.org: Permission denied (publickey). fatal: Could not read from remote repository. Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.” When I brought this to the attention of a Bioconductor admin, that person recommended that I update my public and private SSH keys. I have done this, and all is fine with pushing revisions to my GitHub account. I have, of course, incremented the version number for my package. But still, I receive the same “Permission denied (publickey). fatal” error message. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
