Hey Lori, I cloned the package from GitHub and I run R CMD build, resulting in an tar.gz file. I also tried to run R CMD check on this file, yet it printed the following error:
* using R version 3.5.0 (2018-04-23) * using platform: x86_64-apple-darwin15.6.0 (64-bit) * using session charset: UTF-8 * checking for file ‘alternativeSplicingEvents.hg38/DESCRIPTION’ ... OK * checking extension type ... ERROR Extensions with Type ‘Annotation package’ cannot be checked. * DONE Status: 1 ERROR >From the output, it seems the Annotation package is not expected to be >checked. What do you think? Anyway, I attached the tar.gz file (the output >from R CMD build) you asked for. Regarding the other package, I do not need to update it right now, I just ask permission to modify in case I needed to do so in the future. If you need anything else from my part, ask away. Thank you!
