Hi all,

There's now a script that makes sure that all package maintainers who are on
the support site (https://support.bioconductor.org) have all the packages they
maintain in their "watched tags" field, meaning they will get an email every
time someone posts a question tagged with their (lowercase) package name.

This script will run regularly so that this step is automated.

The next step is a script that will regularly nag those maintainers who do NOT
have logins on the support site. Just wanted to warn you that this is coming
up! You can avoid it by registering for the support site using the same email
address that's in the Maintainer field of the package(s) you maintain.

Finally, BiocCheck will be modified to make sure the package's maintainer is on
the support site and it will fail if this is not the case, so for new packages
(which are required to pass BiocCheck) this will be a requirement.

Thanks for your contributions to Bioconductor and for contributing your
expertise by answering questions on the support site!

Let us know if you have questions.
Dan
