Apologies, my weakness for "snappy" responses got the better of me rather than taking a deep breath and discussing the issue at hand.
The decision has been unilaterally made, which is your prerogative, however when questioned why this decision was made I do not think "why don't you explain why not?" is a satisfying answer.
