I admit that this list can be harsh, but if it is ever less than well-meaning
then I at least want to be corrected. Your concept that ideas are transportable
across languages is time-wasting at least and could be dangerous.

I am glad that you have an answer, but so that I can understand what posts like
yours expect in the future please let us know what that answer is? I guarantee
that I will not tear it to shreds, and if it makes you happier then please send
it to me by private mail.

As for what a variable is, please do the same with that question. What is the
answer that you think is transportable?

My own goal is to make programming as transparent as possible without hiding the
difficulties that a programmer may face when getting code to actually work.
