Noe sure about that one. It's weird a browser has internet access but perl doesn't.
I'm all out of ideas, any winders people out there? Here's a better more permanent fix : Kill Windows and install any flavor of *nix. Actually making it dual boot and trying it on *nix would be a good idea. I bet you find it's a winders issue. HTH Sorry couldn't do more.
