Hi Bob, Maybe I'm spoiled here, as I've always worked in integrated development environments, and only ventured into Perl; when I saw a good, transparent, installer available from ActiveState. So in a case like this, what would be the advantages and disadvantages of nuking-and-paving the Perl installation to bring in an uncorrupted current version?
