But there are so many questions in the perldoc FAQs that are asked here,
repeatedly, like "How can I write expect in Perl?", or "How do I install
a module from CPAN?" or "How do I change one line in a file/delete a
line in a file/insert a line in the middle of a file/append to the
beginning of a file?". A quick glance through those FAQs and I see a lot
of questions that I have personally answered on this list.

That's a rather trivial example... the question, at some time, has been
asked repeatedly (probably on clpm) which is why it has ended up in the
FAQ. True, it probably isn't asked very often here, but so many others
are.

I think the ideal thing to do, to look at a FAQ specifically to help
beginners on this list, would be to go through the archives and find those
questions that are getting asked repeatedly and determine if they aren't
in the perldoc FAQs.
