I may have to just track down that rule and trash it, after I see just what all it did place in the deleted box... To do dollar sign digit, I'd have to make ten items in the rules. Some subject lines get pretty clever. That's why a large number of people have been caught by some of the Trojans/worms out there. my brother had his drive wiped out by one, though he had not been running any Antivirus.
My emails are now checked by Norton's on the outgoing, so pretty much guaranteed no virus/Trojans/worms in my outgoing email. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hamid Majidy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Wayne" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "Morbus Iff" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2001 3:53 PM Subject: RE: dollar sign in subject > How about a dollar sign followed by numeric digit(s) as a spam rule? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Morbus Iff [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2001 3:14 PM > To: Wayne; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: dollar sign in subject > > > >Every time any of you place a dollar sign ($) in the subject line, it gets > >tossed into the deleted file here. > > Those are pretty draconian filters you have.
