First of all, see:

* http://perl-begin.org/learn/Perl-perl-but-not-PERL/

(It's either "Perl" or "perl", but never "PERL". It is a ).

Then see the other resources at http://perl-begin.org/ . There are some
tutorials at http://perl-begin.org/tutorials/ and some books (some of them
online) here: http://perl-begin.org/books/ . The most recommended book, if you
already know a different programming language is probably "Modern Perl" (
http://perl-begin.org/books/#modern-perl ) - otherwise, you should look at
Beginning Perl ( http://perl-begin.org/books/#beginning-perl ) first. Both are
available online for free download.
