        And I think making mistakes is an invaluable part of any learning process.
Which is why this particular forum is so important.  Being able to try first
and have others point out your errors in a critical yet non-abrasive
environment is a godsend.  In my opinion, it urges one to try harder to
prove they can grasp the concepts.
        And I've certainly cracked a book and read for hours myself as well.  But
the large majority of the time, the book is cracked when I'm stumped.
