There are tons of ^M's in these scripts. I believe that is what you
get when writing them in a MS word processor or editor, rather than a *nix
editor. I didn't think these would be the problem, though. Running the 
scripts from the command line seems to be fine, the only time there is
a problem is when calling it from within a browser.
But, I'll see what happens when I pull all the ^M's out.
