I'm trying to install bugzilla on Windows XP 2003 and the installation procedure says that I need to install AppConfig. So I point my browser at http://ppm.activestate.com/PPMPackages/5.6plus/ and right mouse click on AppConfig.ppd (I'm using IE 6 as my browser). This saves an AppConfig.xml file! Hmmm. I try the "ppm AppConfig.ppd" but that command does not work.
I tried looking for AppConfig at http://ppm.activestate.com/PPMPackages/zips/5xx-builds-only/ but that not have AppConfig. http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/2.18/html/installation.html#install-perlmodules says I need to install the following modules: 1. AppConfig (1.52) 2. CGI (2.93) 3. Data::Dumper (any) 4. Date::Format (2.21) 5. DBI (1.36) 6. DBD::mysql <http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/2.18/html/installation.html#install-modules-db d-mysql> (2.1010) 7. File::Spec (0.82) 8. File::Temp (any) 9. Template <http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/2.18/html/installation.html#install-modules-te mplate> (2.08) 10. Text::Wrap (2001.0131) Are not some of these already (like CGI) installed by default in the ActiveState 5.6 installation? How do I install AppConfig? Thanks, Siegfried
