I just converted my 5 year worth of gnucash data into beancount. I'd like
to further separate that out into yearly files, so I'd have
Y2017.beancount, Y2016.beancount, etc. Is this possible, and if so how can
I do that with beancount? I have been reading about "closing the books" on
this mailing list but I am still not sure how I'd do it practically.
