Reviews:

Sandra reviewed a Netflix documentary, 'Hans Zimmer, Hoolywood Rebel', a
fellow who has done many movie scores, as she found it enjoyable
https://www.netflix.com/title/81739300

Yochanan reviewed 'Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken' by Dreamworks as silly I
not one of their better works, but considered it cute, it a little juvenile
& a good waste of time
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby_Gillman,_Teenage_Kraken
and Yochanan reviewed 'Damsel' on Netflix as his favorite part of
the movie was the voice of the dragon. He thought it was a decent movie,
but predictable

Gerry showed a photo from last week's eclipse path of totality - an
extremely striking example of 'Baily's beads' & then took us on a short
tour of his desktop

Adrienne commented that this time of year is when she watches movies &
programs about baseball. She reviewed a 4-season series, 'Eastbound &
Down' as horrible & absolutely not recommended
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastbound_%26_Down

Rick reviewed more of the Chinese version of 'The Three Body Problem' (NBC
Peacock, Amazon Prime) as he is up to episode 8. He still finds it quite
engrossing & very, very worthwhile. Mandarin, w/English subtitles.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-Body
Rick also commented about 'Damsel' as it inspired the most
amusing review of original-for-Netflix movies as all being completely
forgettable =

<<42 minutes long & Rick is right IMO.>>

Mo reviewed 'Beacon 23' as science fiction about a station in space, with
recognizable actors. It has 2 seasons out now & she recommends it
She also recommends 'Lord of the Rings'

Drew reviewed the Facebook group for 'Dune' as long having lost its
moderators & is now populated by original members & visited by many folk
who have never heard of Frank Herbert's 'Dune' series, so hilarity ensues

Trey reviewed the movie 'Sandlot' as 'A Christmas Story' meets 'Little
League'. It's a movie about baseball & he saw it for free and enjoyed it.
Mo agreed that it is a delightful movie & she recommends it.

and the rumor of the week was = 'Today was an especially taxing day'

There were auctions

we adjourned at = 8:50pm
