There are two important things coming up this weekend. The first is of course SuperbOwl Sunday, the day each year our roads and trails are uncongested (reportedly on account of some sports contest), so we can enjoy the outdoors -- and post pictures of particularly any spectacular owls we see to https://www.reddit.com/r/SuperbOwl/ . The other is CABAL, on Saturday. (On Sunday at 3pm, I'll be doing a 2 mile or so hike from Purisima Creek North Ridge Trailhead, 13184 Skyline Blvd, about 2 miles north of King's Mountain Road.
